We’re pretty sure that Rhasidat Adeleke is one of the coolest women in Ireland.
She did us so proud at the Olympics this summer.

Rihanna had her own fangirl moment when she met the Olympian at a Fenty Beauty event earlier this week.
In the video that Rhasidat shares, Rihanna can be heard saying: “I follow you!”
To which Rhasidat replies: “You know who I am?” and Rihanna enthusiastically replies: “Yes!”
“Such a fun evening celebrating @fentyhair,” she wrote on social media.
She then shared snaps of her with Rihanna writing: “Fan girl moment meeting @badgalriri.
“Such an inspiration & forever breaking barriers in the industry. My younger self would’ve never thought that Rihanna would be following me & my journey!”
We can’t cope with how cool she is!

Earlier this week, Rhasidat reflected on her “rookie season”, writing on social media: “Rookie year over & out! 6 National Records, 3 European medals & 2 Olympic finals.
“Finally completed the sprint national record sweep (60m-400m, 7.15 11.13 22.34 49.07) ! Soo grateful to my sponsors @kpmg_ireland ,@nike & @allianzireland for supporting my dreams. Those who guided me to & through my Olympic journey & to every single person that has been rooting for me, thank you so so much. From the sweet messages to flying out to races….It literally means the world.”
She concluded: “Learnt A LOT of lessons in my first year as a professional athlete. I’m so excited to get back at it! But first, some much needed R&R.”
