Stuart Townsend was no stranger to the red carpet back in the day, when we would often see him on the arm of his former girlfriend, and current star of blockbuster Mad Max, Charlize Theron.
It’s now emerged that the actor has “fallen off the map” and is living somewhere in Costa Rica.
The handsome acting pair were together for nine years before splitting in 2010, and Oscar winning Charlize is now engaged to actor Sean Penn.
Since their split, Dubliner Stuart has only been spotted a handful of times, leaving us wondering where he’d disappeared to.
Now, according to Dylan Townsend, Stuart’s younger brother, the actor is living in Central America where he’s busy raising a family.
Speaking to the Herald, Dylan revealed “‘He’s fallen in love with a Costa Rican girl and he’s got land, and it’s a totally new journey for him.”
‘I’m really happy for him. He’s got a home in LA, but he has not been there – I haven’t seen him in a while. He’s sort of fallen off the map, bringing up children,’ he added.
“He has a whole new family that no-one knows about and he’s about to have a second child.”
Dylan was at home in Dublin last night for the launch of the new RTE show “Exiles”, which he will be appearing in alongside Made in Chelsea’s Nicola Hughes.
He previously admitted that the pair didn’t exactly see eye-to-eye while filming the reality show, which kicks off tonight on RTE Two.
