Coolio landed in Dublin this week for a top-secret gig on Tuesday night.
The Hard Rock Hotel in the heart of the city had been teasing a “very special guest” as they showed off their soundcheck.
They then revealed it was the one and only Coolio!
He could be seen rocking his iconic hair as he bopped around the floor in Zampas, the venue attached to The Hard Rock Hotel.

Of course, he couldn’t just end the night with a surprise gig! So he headed over to one of the nightclubs in the city – Krystle.
He shared some videos of the packed crowd on the dancefloor as he appeared to hang out in the VIP area of the club.
Coolio is no stranger to Dublin as he previously hung out with rap group Versatile on our shore just a handful of weeks ago!
He was pictured in Conor McGregor’s Black Forge Inn pub with the rap duo Casey Walsh and Alex Sheehan in June.

Coolio has apparently been a long-time fan of the Irish rappers, even appearing in their music video for Escape Wagon in 2019.
At the beginning of the song, the American rapper draws comparisons between Dublin’s Ringsend and Los Angeles and labels the inner-city neighbourhood “the Compton of Europe”.
