Following some harsh criticism last year for leaving her children alone in a car, Rachel Stevens has responded to the comments, insisting she would never intentionally put her children in danger.
Last September, the Voice of Ireland judge left her children, Amelie aged four, and Minnie aged one, in their car, unattended, while she ran errands.
Opening up to Essentials magazine about the whole situation, Rachel said, “I found it hard it hard when I was criticised for running out of my car to run an errand while the girls were still in it.
“Parenting is always going to split judgement and you never have all the answers. I would never do anything to intentionally harm my girls; they are my life.
“Whatever you do as a parent, you will be judged by other people. You can only you your best.”
Tv nanny, Jo Frost opened up about the situation at the time, revealing that Rachel should never have come under fire so publicly for her choices.
“I’m sure Rachel Stevens is now aware that her parenting choice was not a smart one, but truly so fed with celebs being publicly shamed.
“It’s the tone of this public parenting police I don’t like. Sones and glass houses. Lets teach, love and educate,” she tweeted.
