Rachel Allen has opened up about life as a mother, admitting she found parenthood much easier when her three children were younger.
The celebrity chef is mother to 23-year-old Joshua, 21-year-old Lucca, and 14-year-old Scarlett.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Rachel revealed how she still finds it difficult to juggle all that life throws at her.
“Sometimes I do feel like I’m struggling to juggle a whole lot of balls and then, every so often, one drops and I pick it up and go again,” she told the publication.

Adding: “But that’s kind of OK.”
“I think [motherhood] was easier when they were little. Smaller children mean smaller problems,” Rachel admitted when chatting about the trials and tribulations of raising young adults.
The TV personality also opened up about her eldest son Joshua and his previous run-ins with the law but added that she didn’t want to speak on his behalf.
In the past, the 23-year-old served time in prison in relation to drug offences.
“I don’t really want to speak for [Joshua] because he’s a person in his own right and he can speak for himself,” she explained.
“I feel for him when he has no say in it and I’ve been there, talking about him in the newspapers.”
Speaking generally about her kids, Rachel added that they are all doing great.
“They’re getting on well in life and it’s lovely to see that.”
