Congratulations are in order for jockey Rachael Blackmore.
It looks like she has just revealed that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Brian Hayes.
The pair announced that they had tied the knot at the start of the year.
Rachael shared beautiful pictures of their intimate Cork wedding on social media with a simple white heart as a caption.
Now it looks like the couple will be moving onto another stage of their life.
The jockey, who announced her retirement in 2025 after 16 years, announced that she’s expecting her first child in a very lowkey way.
Sharing a brand ambassador photo of her car, Rachael joked that her boot was looking a little bit different. Rather than riding gear, she had a brand new buggy in the boot.
“Boot contents looking a little bit different now,” she wrote on social media.
Brian confirmed that he and Rachael had gotten married during a post-race interview in January.
“I got married ten days now I suppose,” he told to RacingTV.
“Myself and Rachael got married so off the market. It was a lovely day. We got married on the Friday down at home in Rosscarbery, in my home place.
“We went up to Cavan then on the Monday and had a big party with all our friends and family. It was nice… it was nice just to get married finally.”
