Top Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino won’t be signing Colin Farrell up for a movie anytime soon, as he has made no secret of his dislike for the Irish actor’s latest TV show, True Detective, and all who stars in it.
Speaking to Vulture, Tarantino said, “I tried to watch the first episode of season one – I didn’t get it at all. I thought it was really boring, and season two looks awful.”
It wasn’t particularly the storyline he didn’t like, the actors were the main issue: “All these handsome actors trying not to be handsome and walking around like the weight of the world is on their shoulders.”
He scoffed, “It’s so serious, and they’re so tortured, trying to look miserable with their mustaches and grungy clothes.”
Sorry Colin, unless you change up your acting style, we don’t think he’s going to want to make a movie with you anytime soon…
