It looks like we have a new power couple in town.
Rumours had swirled that Cat Deeley, who is married to Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty, would be landing the This Morning presenting gig.
Last year, the English morning show was left in upheaval when both presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby left the series.
There was a series of rotating hosts for several months, but now the permanent presenters have been revealed.
Cat Deeley, who is no stranger to presenting, will host the beloved show which airs on ITV in the UK and Virgin Media One here in Ireland.
Ben Shephard will also be on the couch alongside Cat every morning.
ITV shared the news with a video that showed Ben Shephard walking through the hallways of the studio to hang up his and Cat’s picture.
“It’s official! Say hello to our new #ThisMorning presenters! Welcome to the family. We can’t wait to see you soon!” they wrote.

Patrick rushed to the comments to write: “Hot Couple Alert ! Couldn’t be prouder.”
“This really feels like a very special moment for Cat and I to be part of the next chapter of This Morning,” Ben said of the announcement.
“It’s an honour to be trusted with the reins, join Alison [Hammond] and Dermot [O’Leary] and all the team that work on and off screen and do such a great job.”
While Cat added: “Whenever it’s on, it’s like having your friends over – funny, smart, silly, heartfelt, informative and joyful – like all the greatest friendships.”
With Cat hosting one of the biggest shows in the UK and Patrick hosting The Late Late Show, the biggest chat show in Ireland, they really are a power couple.
Patrick flies in on Thursdays for The Late Late before flying back to the UK on Saturday morning. While Cat’s new role might look like it throws a spanner in the works of their set-up, there is no need to worry as Cat and Ben won’t host This Morning on Fridays.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary host the series on Fridays!
So there’s no need to fret about Patrick’s gig here in Ireland!
