As TV3 get ready to announce their exciting new line-up, news has emerged that one of their shows has been axed.
The popular Irish version of celebrity masterchef will no longer be made.
The CEO of production company ShinAwil, who produced the show has hit out at the station for not airing the show in a better slot.
“It’s not rocket science working out when people want to watch Masterchef.
“We did one series of Celebrity Masterchef and TV3 buried it on a Monday night graveyard slot,” Larry Bass told the Irish Sun.
The popular cooking show aired on RTE since 2011 but moved to TV3 in 2016.
The celebrity edition of the show included stars such as Samantha Mumba, Evelyn Cusack and Simon Delaney.
TV3 will announce their new season this week, including exciting new programmes such as Blind Date and Ireland’s Got Talent.
