Netflix has confirmed that Pierce Brosnan will star in an upcoming original film titled ‘Eurovision’.
The film will follow the story of aspiring musicians from Iceland, who get the opportunity to represent their country in the highly popular song contest, Eurovision.
Acting alongside Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams, the Navan native will play the role of Erik Ericksong, the father of Will Ferrell.
No stranger to playing the role of a heartthrob, Pierce’s character has been dubbed ‘the most handsome man in Iceland’, and we are intrigued.
The film is expected to be a laugh out loud comedy, as Will Ferrell himself has teamed up with the director of Wedding Crashers to create the Netflix original.
The heartwarming flick is currently in production in the UK and Iceland, and is set to be released in May 2020. just as the Eurovision song contest will celebrate its 65th anniversary.
