A host of Irish stars attended a special festive evening recently hosted by the Directors of Weir & Sons, along with Newbridge Silverware, at Weir & Sons’ iconic Grafton Street store.
The style quotient on the evening was high with guests including Newbridge Silverware Brand Ambassador Rob Kearney, Lorraine Keane, Holly White, Xpose’s Peter O’Riordan and his stunning Hawaiian wife Stephanie, Darren Kennedy, stylist Cathy O’Connor, plus a host of Ireland’s leading media and guests.
Guests enjoyed plenty of bubbles, mulled wine and seasonal nibbles, while enjoying the up-tempo sounds of the 1940s and 1950s from six piece swing band, The Swing Cats. One lucky guest, Anthony Lynch, won a stunning canteen of Newbridge Cutlery while all guests got to take home a beautiful engraved decoration from Newbridge Silverware and Weir & Sons.
The evening was made even more special with a capsule collection of dresses from Newbridge Silverware’s Museum of Style Icons, including Victoria Beckham’s citrus-yellow Roberto Cavalli gown – the first time it has ever been shown outside the museum; a navy and cream polka dot dress worn by screen legend Maureen O’Hara in the 1957 MGM film The Wings of Eagles, which also starred John Wayne; and a blue Stella McCartney jumpsuit with slash details to the bodice, worn by Naomi Campbell, the new face of Newbridge Silverware 2015.
