There was a great deal of excitement when it emerged that Jamie Dornan was selling his house – I mean forget the fact that it costs over half a million, imagine moving into Christina Grey’s pad!? – but, sadly, the Grade-II-listed stone Cotswolds cottage, built in the 1850s, has been sold.
However, with estate agents Knight Frank posting a listing for the 50 Shades actor’s home online, we got an insight into how one of our favourite Irish hotties live – and boy is it pretty!
The three-bedroom house looks super-cosy and homely, and to be frank, we’ve no idea why Jamie and wife Amelia Warner would want to sell!
It’s unknown who snapped the property up, but if The Mirror’s report is anything to go by, a fan of Jamie’s raunchy flick may have stepped up.
One local told the paper: “We can imagine we might get a lot of ladies interested in buying the place – the thought of going to sleep in the bedroom where the actor who played Christian Grey once slept could be the ultimate turn on for some ladies.
“It’s sure to attract a lot of attention and we’re not sure if bondage is big in the Cotswolds, but it could be the book has started a trend. Clearly, Jamie doesn’t want all his money tied up in property.”
The Fall star’s main home is in North London, near Regents Park, where he lives with wife Amelia and their little girl Dulcie.
