Ireland AM’s Paul Ryder announces brand new presenting gig

Congratulations are in order for Paul Ryder.

He has been delighting viewers as an Ireland AM contributor over the last 12 months.

And now he has landed his very own presenting gig.

Paul shared the news that he will be bringing a new beauty show to our screens later this month.

“..and so the news is OUT! @makeupallstarsire comes to @virginmediatelevision NEXT MONDAY for five nights consecutively,” he wrote on social media.

“This week last year, I was called in to a screen test to guest host Ireland AM, not even a year later and I can’t believe how things have gone IM HOSTING MY OWN SHOW!

“Please share the love. There’s loads of thank you’s but there’s plenty of time for that. For now, we celebrate!”

He was immediately inundated with congratulatory messages from his pals.

“Brill congrats!” Jenny Lee Dixon wrote.

“AMAZING!!!!” Maia Dunphy told her pal, while James Patrice simply commented: “Woooo”.

Paul previously gushed to VIP Magazine about being part of the presenting team on Ireland AM, which he calls a “blessing”.

“Being able to sit in front of the nation for the last few months has been a blessing,” he enthused.

“I’m a fan of Ireland AM and I have been since I was a child. I’ve worked with Alan Hughes for years doing panto. But being able to sit in that chair alongside Simon and Elaine who are iconic staples of Irish television, I’m so blessed.

“I’m very thankful for how the year has gone. You never know when it’s going to end, so you grasp every opportunity.”
