Paul Mescal has officially made it.
The actor has been killing it for the last few years and we’ve been so proud of him here in Ireland.
But he’s cemented his place as a Hollywood star now appearing in Gladiator II.
And as the blockbuster hits cinemas, he has been inundated with offers to appear on chat shows.
We’re replaying his Hot Wings episode constantly! But his big win was being asked to host American comedy show, Saturday Night Live.
He will will guest host the iconic series on December 7th alongside musical guest Shaboozey.
And we’re buzzing to see him in a more comedic role, as he’s certainly known for his serious ways.
He’ll follow in the footsteps of Irish stars like Colin Farrell and Saoirse Ronan, who have previously hosted the show.

This year, the show is celebrating its 50th season, which kicked off with host Jean Smart and musical guest Jelly Roll.
This was followed by Nate Bargatze and Coldplay, Ariana Grande and Stevie Nicks, Michael Keaton and Billie Eilish, John Mulaney and Chappell Roan, Bill Burr and Mk.gee and the latest episode saw Charli XCX as both the host and musical guest.
We’re sure Paul will smash it!
