Our sites may be set on Christmas, but when a new picture of Paul Mescal drops we will return to our Halloween state of mind.
Just for him.
Daisy Edgar-Jones, his Normal People co-star, shared a picture of the pair dressed up for Halloween.
The pair, who have been firm friends since filming the beloved series, went for matching costumes.
Daisy dressed up as Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag, while Paul dressed up as his pal, Andrew Scott’s character in the BBC series, the Hot Priest.
The English actress casually dropped the picture on her Instagram Story this week and sent fans into meltdown.
She simply wrote: “Oh btw Paul and I did this for Halloween.”
Be still our beating hearts.
Paul and Andrew are set to team up for an upcoming film, Strangers.
The film follows Andrew’s character, screenwriter Adam, as he experiences a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbour Harry, played by Paul Mescal on a quiet night in London.
However, things take a bizarre turn when Adam is brought back to his childhood home where he finds his late parents alive and well…although they haven’t aged a day.
Of course, it’s not the first time that the pair have shared the screen together.
RTÉ’s 2020 Comic Relief video saw Paul and his Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones enter the Fleabag confessional booth in a short skit.
And the pair are actually friends as they both were spotted at Glastonbury together.
Paul has plenty of upcoming projects aside from this film, this year he has two flicks coming out Aftersun and God’s Creatures. He will also appear in the musical drama Carmen and Foe alongside Saoirse Ronan.
Meanwhile, Andrew has an eight-episode series called Ripley set to come out soon and a film called Catherine, Called Birdy dropped earlier this year.
