Yes, PEOPLE Magazine’s iconic issue is coming very soon and we’re all eager to find out who will be named this year.
And it looks like an Irish man could return to the cover of the magazine as not one but two have made it to the longlist.
Yes, both Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan are in the running for this year’s Sexiest Man.
They could be the first Irish man voted Sexiest Man since Pierce Brosnan in 2001. Honestly, the country is overdue a Sexiest Man nod!
Paul has just been on the up and up since shooting to fame in 2020 when Normal People came out. He was nominated for an Oscar for Aftersun in 2022.
This year, he will star in the sequel to Gladiator alongside Pedro Pascal.
Barry Keoghan has been working tirelessly since appearing in Love/Hate in 2013. He appeared in The Killing of the Sacred Deer alongside Colin Farrell and Dunkirk with Cillian Murphy.
He even joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he starred in The Eternals in 2021 and became a heartthrob for fans of the franchise.

But he really hit the mainstream when he starred in Saltburn alongside Jacob Elordi.
The longlist also includes Glen Powell, Jeremy Allen White, Josh O’Connor, Charlie Vickers, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Joshua Jackson, Zahn McClarnon, Travis Kelce, Adam Brody, Manny Jacinto and Jalen Hurts.
