Paul Galvin has opened up about his upcoming wedding to Today FM host Louise Duffy, admitting that he is worried it will change what they currently have.
The GAA player revealed his fears about marriage changing his relationship with the radio star, and said he hopes nothing will be different after they tie the knot.
“I would hope our relationship won’t change a whole lot from what it is now because it is great,” he commented.
“I don’t want marriage to change us a whole lot because we are very happy. Hopefully it will just add some new element, but if it continues as it is I will be pleased because it has been fantastic,” he told RSVP Magazine.
The Kerry player recently launched a clothing line Vanguard with Dunnes Stores, and there are two more in the pipeline. The fashionista previously told Ireland AM that he would be keeping it simple on his wedding day, probably opting to wear a black three piece suit for the ceremony, but that all eyes will be on what Louise is wearing.
“I don’t think people will be interested in my suit at all, my suit will be very simple, it’ll probably be a black three- piece suit,” he said.
The pair are set to wed in a New Year’s Eve ceremony, and Louise recently admitted they will be spending Christmas apart to make the big day extra special.
She also revealed that she has no intentions of taking the Galvin surname, explaining that she doesn’t want to confuse her listeners.
