Tonight’s episode of Fair City sees Paul Brennan finally discovering the truth about his financial situation.
The love rat goes to buy Barry’s old house, and unfortunately comes to the realisation that he is in fact broke, when his accountant tells him that the account is empty.
Niamh, who obviously knows the truth, is by his side when he makes the discovery and silently delights in her plan eventually coming to fruition.
Paul begins to panic, and it’s only made worse when Dermot doesn’t answer his phone. However, when Calum suggests that Dermot may have the money, Paul vehemently brushes off the idea.
Meanwhile, Dermot knows that he’s gotten himself in too deep and is forced to go on the run. Where will he go, and will Paul find out the full truth?
