Paudie Moloney has made it to the final of Dancing with the Stars.
While he is excited to take to the dancefloor for the last time on Sunday night, not everyone is so happy for him to be in the final four.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, ahead of the final, he shared that he is not paying attention to any of those comments.
“I don’t really read that, and I haven’t paid much attention to it. What I will say is nobody has come up to me in the street and said something negative. It has all been positive,” he confessed.

“I don’t read opinions. They are like noses – everybody has one. It’s called freedom of speech. And thank God we have it. People are entitled to speak. I just don’t have to listen. That’s how I see it.”
While he tells us he would “love to win it”, he doesn’t see himself lifting the Glitterball trophy.
“I don’t fancy my chances. I would say I am where I should be: as an outsider in a four-horse race. But what I am going to do is enjoy it.
“I’ve come here not with any expectation of winning this competition; I came here to enjoy it and to entertain.”

He went on to say: “I would love to win it. This is actually showing the credibility in the show, that they’re not hiding anything. If somebody is popular, then they win it. I never set out to be a popular person. I really didn’t.
“I don’t know where this came from or what happened. I’m delighted with it, I’m thrilled. I’d love to win it, of course, but that’s not for me to do or say. Whatever happens, happens.”
He confessed he’ll be ready to relax after Sunday, but one person will be even happier – his wife Bernadette.
“She’ll also be delighted that it’s over, because we were happily retired to be honest, and we spent a lot of time together. Now we’ve been slightly separated again on a daily basis, so that was strange for us, but it’s all coming back the same way.”
The Dancing with the Stars Grand Finale airs on Sunday 15 March at 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
