Shauna Lindsay has revealed her online horror, after discovering people had stolen photos from her and shared them on an adult website.
The Irish model was marked by online bullies, and after being targeted, had pictures shared on a “pornography site.”
Speaking to the Herald, Shauna said, “My photos have been stolen and posted on an adult pornography site, and I’ve had to deal with numerous fake profiles pretending to be me.”
The 21 year old said, “I’m criticised about my body or how I look because I’m a model. Nasty comments are made on a daily basis under my photos.
“I’ve been physically bullied, verbally bullied and bullied online. We cannot get away with people destroying each other’s lives for their own amusement. We should be supporting each other, not destroying each other.”
Shauna was able to move past the ordeal, but has expressed her devastation at how some people take their own lives following similar situations.
“I hear about it every day, and it’s heartbreaking. I really want to get the message out that there is help out there.”
