Nicola has been nominated for the IFTA Rising Star Award and tells followers this nomination “means everything”.
The Bridgerton star shared a post on Instagram thanking the Irish Film & Television Academy for her nomination. The post reads, “It’s such a huge honour to be nominated for the IFTA Rising Star Award especially during a time when Irish talent is rightfully having a moment on the world stage. This means the absolute world to me and I couldn’t be more grateful and excited!”.

The Derry Girls actress shot to global fame appearing as Penelope Featherington in the Netfix hit Bridgerton.
As well as working on season two of the show, Nicola has written and is making a comedy podcast with her best friend Camilla Whitehill.
She recently revealed on Twitter that they had recorded the comedy podcast. She let fans know she is “very grateful and very excited” for the people involved and for the podcast to be shared with the world.
