Nicola Coughlan has shared the exciting news that hit Netflix series Bridgerton has been renewed for 2 more seasons.
The period drama which landed on Netflix last December has gone on to become one of the most-watched Netflix series of all time, so it’s no surprise that producers are working on season three and four.
Nicola, who plays the character of Penelope Featherington shared the exciting news with fans on Twitter today:

“#Bridgerton has just been renewed for Seasons Three AND Four!!! Thas jus a lil bit iconic” she wrote.
Season two of the series is currently underway, with three and four set to begin once the second season has wrapped this year. An official press release for the show has confirmed that the next three seasons will remain in line with the events from the original novels written by Julia Quinn.
