We love seeing the cast of our fave television shows being real-life besties and that certainly is the case for the Derry Girls.
We often see the actors showing up on each other’s Instagram feed and it is just so wholesome!
Nicola Coughlan posted a sweet snap of herself and Louisa Harland, who plays Orla McCool in the show in honour of Louisa’s birthday yesterday.
Captioning the post Nicola wrote, “HBD to the GOAT”, GOAT, stands for Greatest Of All Time, which is a gorgeous compliment to give to your pal.
Louisa replied to the post in the comments with a heart emoji and we just can’t get enough of these two!
Just three weeks ago Louisa shared a similar post for Nicola’s birthday, posting an adorable snap of Nicola drinking Guinness she wrote, “happy birthday nica”.
The pair, along with their co-stars have recently finished up filming the final series of Derry Girls.
Nicola marked the end of the show by sharing a polaroid of herself and Louisa alongside her character, Clare’s rainbow pins she said; “Goodbye Derry Girls, it’s been quite a ride.”
Louisa also shared some snaps from their final days on set with other co-stars like Tommy Tiernan captioned; “closing out.”
We will miss seeing their friendship on-screen but at least we can still see it in real time on Instagram!
