We love the real-life friendship the cast of Derry Girls have and their bond really translates when we see them play pals on-screen.
Nicola Coughlan proved they are still as close as ever with a sweet birthday post for her co-star Dylan John Llewellyn.
The Bridgerton and Derry Girls actress posted a cute video of the pair hanging out on set with the caption, “Happy Birthday Sweet D!! Cannot wait to be back doing this with you so soon ❤️❤️❤️”.
Dylan replied in the comments saying, “Sis! Love ya xx”.

The program, which will now be on season three, was majorly set back due to the Covid-19 pandemic but it’s been revealed that they will soon be back on set.
They are due to resume filming this month and one of the stars of the show, Ian McElhinney shared with The Belfast Telegraph his excitement to return, “It’ll be great and we’ll be delighted to see it back because it’s still in people’s hearts a little bit which is nice”.
Nicola is currently filming season two of the Netflix hit Bridgerton and stepping back into her school uniform to play Clare Devlin in Derry Girls will be quite different to the gowns Penelope Featherington wears.
We are excited to see her return to our screens in both shows!
