It’s safe to say there was some excitement when it was revealed that Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas would be returning to Ireland for the premiere of their new film, Power Ballad.
It was filmed right here on our shores so it makes sense that they would return to premiere the film in Dublin.
The story follows Rick (Paul Rudd), a past-his-prime wedding singer, who crosses paths with Danny (Nick Jonas), a fading boyband star, during a gig.
Bonding over music and a late-night jam session, the two strike up an unlikely friendship. However, when Rick and Danny return to their respective worlds, they discover that this chance encounter will upend both their lives in very different ways.
The duo walked the carpet at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on Sunday night ahead of the world premiere of their film.
And it’s safe to say they had a good time!
