It won’t feel like Dancing with the Stars without Niamh Kavanagh.
After an impressive Tango to Destiny’s Child, the Eurovision winner unfortunately had to face the dreaded dance-off.
She was up against Jordan Dargan, and ultimately, she went home after seven weeks on the show.
She jokes: “I’m not 100% sure what I’m going to be doing with myself tomorrow.”

However, speaking to VIP Magazine, she’s keeping positive about her journey on the show.
“I had the best time. I’m really surprised I got this far at all. I’m so sad to be leaving because it’s such a beautiful experience and I’m going to miss everybody,” she tells us.
“You become really involved in it, it’s your new routine, your new life, and then suddenly it’s going to stop.”
While some viewers shared that they were upset over Niamh’s departure from the show as she was not at the bottom of the leaderboard, the Eurovision star says it was just time for her to go.

“I don’t think somebody’s up there going, ‘We need to get rid of her,’ because I actually calm everybody down. I don’t know how they’re going to cope,” she jokes with her signature smile.
“To be fair, I love that people care that I’m gone. But it is our time and you can’t change it.”
She went on to say that she is “so excited” to take on her next challenge.
“I’m so excited to see what I do next because I have found that energy I always used to have of being curious about the world,” she says.

“And I have always had it, I was just getting a bit relaxed, I’m not going to lie.
“I like to think people understood the joy I was having in it and that they were seeing that, so that they would forgive the fact that maybe I wasn’t as accomplished [as a dancer] as I was as a singer,” she goes on to say.
“And that’s okay for me. It took a while because I’m very competitive, not against other people but against myself, because I wanted to be really good.
“But considering where I started, I became much better than I’d ever thought I’d be.”
