Does Niall plan on leaving his boy band days behind him?

Niall Horan has spoken out about the possibility of leaving his pop days behind him in pursuit of a very different career.

The Mullingar native told the Irish Mirror that he would happily swap his pop career for a chance to be a golf teacher -but only when the time is right.

When asked about swapping the mic for a nine iron the 22 year old said, “If I could teach I would, but not at the moment.”

However, his teaching career may take off sooner than expected with all the amazing experience he’s been getting. The seasoned golfer has been playing with an abundance of top golfers since his hiatus from One Direction and the star has also just been announced as an ambassador for Team Europe for 2016 Ryder Cup golf tournament.

Niall took to Twitter to show his support for the team saying, “Good luck lads. We’re all behind you.

“I really can’t wait to be there to roar you on. C’mon Europe!”

He's a keen golfer these days

We think Niall should stick to golf as a hobby for now -we’re not ready to say goodbye to him as our pop icon just yet!
