Niall Horan has the loveliest relationship with Lewis Capaldi.
We absolutely love that they are best friends.
Niall opened up to VIP Magazine about his relationship with Lewis admitting that he was one of his only famous pals.
At the time the pair were due to appear at Electric Picnic together with Niall admitting: “I’m hoping that I can stay around for his set because he’s playing the night after me. I was at his gig a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta and that was amazing.”
However, Lewis may be back in Ireland as Niall confessed: “He loves an Irish gig too. That weekend is just going to be unbelievable for everyone. I won’t be able to hide the fact that it’s going to be mad emotional. It’ll be different, it’s a different type of gig, a field full of Irish people.”
Niall went on to say that while he and Lewis are as close as close can be, he doesn’t have many pals in showbusiness.
“I generally don’t look for them in the music industry. I’ve no interest in just becoming friends with famous people to be honest with you. I think everyone has this assumption that famous people are all friends for no other reason than the fact they’re famous, personalities don’t even come into the conversation. I’d say I have two or three famous friends.”
Of course, he has plenty of friends from Mullingar.
“That’s why I don’t really have many famous friends – I don’t need loads of new friends. But myself and Lewis are great!”
