If you haven’t seen at least one video of the viral dance from Wednesday, you have definitely been living a much more peaceful life than we have.

The Netflix series quickly became one of the streamer’s darlings, picking up awards left, right and centre.

So there’s no surprise that the The Addams Family spin-off is returning for a second season.

And it’s apparently going to be filming right here on Irish shores!

According to Deadline, the second season of the show will film in an undisclosed location here in Ireland.

The first season was filmed in Romanian back in 2021 and it’s reported that the show will begin work here in April.

The publication states that the relocation may be due to “logistical challenges”.

Jenna Ortega will, of course, return for the second season but no other casting has been confirmed.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán appeared in the first season as Morticia and Gomez Addams. So we’re keeping our fingers crossed that they will return for a second season.

There has been no details about what the new instalment could be about. However, Jenna teased what viewers can expect in a discuss with Elle Fanning for Variety.

“It’s still coming together, but we’ve decided we want to lean into the horror more. We’re ditching any romantic love interest, which is really great. We’re going to get bolder, more dark.”

How exciting!
