The 18-year-old singer has finished up in her school and is jetting off to London to pursue her music career.
Sister of Normal People star Paul Mescal, Nell, has been showing the world her talents on Instagram and TikTok and she is an extremely talented singer.
She told followers she’d be leaving school to pursue music in this recent hilarious TikTok:

She then told fans in the comments it was her “last day” of school last week.
Wow what an exciting opportunity.
Speaking to KISS.ie last year Nell discussed her passion for music and how she writes her own songs.
“I have been singing my whole life,” she told KISS. “Since I was a baby I was always singing and humming anything and everything!”
Nell’s been writing her own music “properly” when she was 13 going on 14, and speaking about the inspiration behind the songs, she said: “I write about things going on in my life and I tend not too stray too far from that… I just write things down in notebooks and on my phone all day every day and hopefully a song comes from that!”

Unsurprisingly, the singer has been compared to Billie Eilish, with her strong yet soft vocal ability.
“Being compared to someone as amazing as Billie Eilish is crazy…” she admitted. “I really look up to her and her music so it’s a huge compliment!”
The Kildare native has shared some videos on Instagram with brother Paul, who recently starred as Connell Waldron in Normal People, and though fans adored their duets, Nell adds that for not it’s just for fun, and they have no plans to work together.

“Paul and I only started singing together recently and it’s only every once in a while which is fun! Singing together is just something fun that we do when we are bored at home.”
There is no shortage of talent in that family, we cannot wait to see the next step in Nell’s journey.
