Country music star Nathan Carter is set to duet with the late, great Joe Dolan on this Friday’s The Late Late Show.
Accompanied by the RTE Concert Orchestra, the 26-year-old will duet with Joe Dolan through the magic of archive footage in a very special performance. Nathan will sing the showband legend’s hit Make Me an Island.
Country music star Nathan will also join a panel discussion celebrating the legacy of Joe Dolan on the Irish music scene alongside Joe’s brother Ben Dolan and Sunday World journalist Eddie Rowley.
The Late Late Show is also giving Joe and Nathan’s fans a chance to see this very special performance in studio with two tickets for Friday night’s show up for grabs.
All they have to do is post a video of themselves singing their favourite Joe Dolan classic to The Late Late Show’s Facebook account or on Twitter using #LateLateJoe or, for those who are a bit shy, they can send the video to latelateextra@rte.ie.
Fans have until Thursday morning to send in their videos and the lucky winner will find themselves in the audience for Friday night’s very special performance.
The Late Late Show will air on RTÉ One at 9.35pm this Friday.
