Robbie Williams amazed the studio audience as he recounted an anecdote about Joe Dolan on The Late Late Show last night.
The Let Me Entertain You singer appeared on the show to talk about his upcoming Irish tour date, which he revealed would be taking place on June 7th 2017, in the Aviva Stadium.
However, talk about his music and upcoming tour became slightly derailed when Ryan questioned him about his relationship with Joe Dolan.
Robbie said that his dad was good pals with the Irish legend and revealed that the twosome nearly got in a lot of trouble together after driving home from a pub in England.
“They were out in Stoke-on-Trent and were driving home after they’d been out for a bevy -not that I condone that.'” Robbie told Ryan.
“And he’s (Robbie’s dad) with Joe and he looks out the window and says ‘there’s a panda (police) car behind us, Joe, if they pull us over I’ll do all the talking, you say nothing’ and Joe responded saying, ‘I hope they can fight!’
“That’s a man right there.”
The audience broke into hysterics and clapped when Robbie finished his hilarious anecdote about our favourite Irish entertainer.
