Well known faces walked the red carpet this week for a great cause.
Stephen Rea, Niall Buggy, Mark McKenna, Cathy Belton and James Patrice were amongst those to attend the premiere of Miracle Club in association with The Mater Foundation at the Lighthouse Cinema Dublin.
The film stars Laura Linney, Kathy Bates and Maggie Smith. With Agnes O’Casey, Mark O’Halloran, Mark McKenna, Niall Buggy, Hazel Doupe and Stephen Rea.
The film takes place in 1968 in Dublin when a group of friends win a trip to Lourdes!
With each woman desperately in need of a personal miracle, the trip seems like an answer to all their prayers. But when they are joined by Chrissie, returning to Dublin after decades in America, deep wounds from the past are re-opened and bitter truths exposed. As they confront one another and embrace their shared past, the group reckon with revelations that will change them forever.
The film hits cinemas on October 13th.
