Michelle Visage seems to be settling into Ireland with great ease and has even been picking up some parts of the culture.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race star is set to be a judge on the upcoming Ireland’s Got Talent.
At the new schedule launch for TV3 today, Lucy Kennedy revealed that Michelle’s been learning some new skills.
“After the show, you’d go over to Glenda and James and they thought you Irish.”
Michelle responded with a very enthusiastic ‘Tá’.
“Obviously that’s all I know,” she joked.
Glenda Gilson and James Kavanagh are set to host the spin-off show Ireland’s Got Mór Talent which will air right after the main show.
“I learned how to do a GAA kick” Michelle added before Louis interrupted with “She means G.A.A!”
“I’m doing really good and James is a great Irish teacher,” Michelle said.
James took to Instagram to share a photo of the duo, where he revealed his favourite part of working with the judge.
“One of my fave bits to film is teaching Michelle iconic things about Ireland. In one bit, we dance to Enya’s Orinoco Flow which, naturally, made my life,” he said.
Jason Byrne, comedian and judge on the show, explained that he has been teaching Michelle how to speak with a stronger Dublin accent for her time in Ireland.
We reckon she’s practically one of us at this stage!
