A huge congratulations are in order for Melanie Murphy and her husband Thomas O’Rourke as the pair welcomed the birth of their second child during the week.
The Irish Youtuber and author confirmed the birth of her beautiful daughter on Wednesday after she took to her Instagram stories to share the happy news.
Melanie expressed how it was the “best day ever” and explained that she would be taking some time offline following the birth.
Adding: “Wanted to let you all know that we’re doing really well and it went unbelievably smoothly this time. So healing.”
“Thank you so much for all the messages of well wishes and love!” she finished.
Before going offline, Melanie shared one final photo of her new newborn daughter’s tiny hand, saying she had “French tips”.
“Fresh out of the womb with a fresh set,” she joked.
The Glass Houses author is yet to share the name or face of her daughter, and chances are she won’t anytime soon as she has continued to keep her two-year-old toddler out of the spotlight over the past few years.
Melanie announced that she and Thomas were expecting back in June of 2022, sharing a photo of her cradling her growing bump on Instagram.
“My Christmas gift arrived very early this year,” she captioned her post.
Since then, Melanie has been very open and candid about her pregnancy journey and has even spoken out to her followers about her experiences with prenatal depression.
