
The Winter Olympics will kick off on February 6th in Italy.
And Ireland will be represented by four incredible athletes across the competition.
The athletes gathered in Bolzano this week for final preparations ahead of the Games, which will run from the 6th to the 22nd of February.

Thomas will return to the Winter Olympics this year and we couldn’t be more excited to cheer him on.
The 30-year-old will become only the second man to represent Ireland at the Winter Games three times.
He will compete in the 10km+10km skiathlon and the 50km classic.
Anabelle Zurbay

17-year-old Anabelle will make her debut at the Games – how exciting!
She is the youngest Irish athlete to ever compete in alpine skiing at the Olympics.
She will compete in slalom and giant slalom events.

Another newcomer, Cormac will also represent his country on skis.
He will compete downhill, giant slalom run and Super G disciplines.

Ben will also compete on the slopes, marking his first Olympics.
Born in Dublin before moving to Vancouver at the age of three, he found his love for skiing at a young age.
He will compete in the freestyle skiing halfpipe event.
