Maura Higgins was supporting her best friend’s beau on Sunday night.
Tommy Fury finally took to the boxing ring to take on Youtuber Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia. The pair had been teeing up to fight for months with the actual event being cancelled twice.
The nail-biting match was watched by millions across the globe including Maura Higgins who has a close bond with Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury.
The trio became fast friends during their time in the Love Island villa.
Maura was watching the fight at home with Molly-Mae and her sister Zoe as well as their pals. They enjoyed some snacks as they watched everything go down on the screen.
“We’re ready,” Maura wrote as she shared a picture of the screen with a glass of bubbles.
She then shared a video of the women watching the final moments of the fight where Tommy was declared the winner! They all jumped up and cheered with delight at the news.
Molly-Mae also shared her delight as she shared a picture of Tommy with the belt: “Never a doubt in my mind.”
“The pressure that was on this boy’s shoulders…I will never ever know how he dealt with it. Never been more proud of anyone in my life,” she wrote alongside a picture of the family of three.
