Maura Higgins is returning to her reality TV roots for a very exciting show!
The former Love Island star is joining the cast of Cooking With The Stars for its second season and we already know it’s going to be excellent television.
What better way to start off the summer than to welcome Love Island back to our screens as well as our fave Love Island alum on another reality show within the same week?!
Cooking With The Stars will air on Virgin Media One at 9 pm tonight (Tuesday), and has an impressive line-up alongside Maura who is ready to show off their cooking skills.

The eight celebrities who will be paired with a mentor to help perfect their cooking skills include, dancer and Strictly judge Anton Du Beke, Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, This Morning presenter Josie Gibson, The Chase star Anne Hegerty, TV presenter and expert Dr Ranj Singh, comedian Joe Wilkinson and DJ Woody Cook.
The celebs will compete with each other in cooking challenges with their food being blindly judged by the professional chefs who are mentoring the group. If you’re a foodie but love a bit of drama too press record on this or Love Island and watch them back-to-back, the perfect Tuesday night!
Maura has recently been named the third richest Love Island star who has come from the show. It’s believed Maura hit millionaire status during the pandemic. Between signing deals with Ann Summers, Bellamianta and various fashion endorsements, The Sun reports that in 2021 Maura made over £500,000 (€586, 209) on brand deals alone. It’s also believed the star can also charge upwards of €10,000 per Instagram post due to her highly engaged audience.
And now she may be adding chef to her list of achievements too!
