Despite the fact that Maura Higgins initially kept her relationship with Chris Taylor very much under wraps, since they went public together they’ve been very open about how they feel.
All you have to do is take one look at either of their Instagram pages to see that they’re super loved up.
The Love Island star has been getting even more candid about their romance in a new interview, as she spoke about her plans for the future.
Speaking with The Irish Sun she revealed; “We’re very much in love and we use the L-word a lot. I look into the future and see myself with a family.”
“I don’t want a baby any time soon, but when I’m ready and settled. I want to be married before I have a baby, so Chris better hurry up and give me that engagement ring, because I’m not getting any younger,” she joked.
The Longford native shared that their strong foundation came from the fact they were friends first; “We were friends for ages before it ever turned into a relationship. We know each other very well, we never argue, we have such a laugh. It’s really good.”
The 30-year-old continued; “He’s the male version of me. We’re always goofing around and giggling. We take the mickey out of each other all the time, it’s a lot of fun, and that’s so important in a relationship.”
Perhaps we’ll be hearing wedding bells by the end of 2021?
