Rumours had swirled around Maura Higgins after the reality star stepped down from her presenting role in Love Island: Aftersun in the States.
Fans were convinced that she was already booked and busy for this time period.
And they were so right!
It has now been confirmed that Maura Higgins will be joining the fourth season of The Traitors US.

Peacock, the channel that airs the popular reality show in the States, posted on Instagram confirming that the Love Island star would be heading to the castle.
Unlike the UK version, the American Traitors sees reality stars and well-known faces step into the castle to smoke out the traitors.
Alongside Maura Higgins, we’ll see five Real Housewives coming into the castle, Dorinda Medley, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Lisa Rinna, Caroline Stanbury and Porsha Williams.
Maura won’t be the only Love Island star as Rob Rausch, who got fame in the American version, will also appear in the show.

Monét X Change from RuPaul’s Drag Race will continue on the legacy of queens from the show making their mark on the series.
We’ll also have American Olympians including Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski in the show.
Taylor Swift fans will be excited to see her boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce also join the show. Will she share about their relationship? We hope so!
The Traitors US has previously aired on BBC, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed to watch season four here in Ireland!
