It’s the time of year when loved ones return home. Whether you’re making the journey in the next few days or waiting for someone to walk through the doors it can be an emotional time.
Maura Higgins was among those returning to the Emerald Isle this week just in time for Christmas.
And she took her followers along with her on her journey back to her native country.
She shared a picture of her in the plane with the caption: “I love being in the sky.”
Our Maura had her priorities straight as soon as she landed in Ireland, she headed straight to pick up the goods AKA Tayto.
She posted a picture of a packet of Tayto’s Cheese & Onion crisps and Salt & Vinegar crisps, with the caption: “First things first.”
Later she travelled back to Longford where she had an emotional reunion with her family including her niece.
The Love Island star shared a picture of herself and her niece, writing: “Back with my girl.”
She’s definitely enjoying her time in Ireland as she shared some pictures of her enjoying a little breakaway. Including a shot of two hot tubs that look like the dream way to spend a Wednesday!
