Maura Higgins has opened up about the dating rumours that seem to hound her.
The Love Island star has been linked to several well named stars and most recently reports circulated that she and The Only Way Is Essex’s star Pete Wicks are together.
As she washed her clothes on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here with podcaster GK Barry, they discussed the speculation about her love life.
“I get it in a sense because I know I was on a dating show, but it was five years ago,” Maura confessed as she opened up about the interest in her love life.
When GK asked her about Pete Wicks, Maura brushed it off: “You know more than me! No, I’m single. People can date and not be in a relationship and take things slow.”
As for speaking to the media, she said: “What’s the point in getting them involved too soon, when you just don’t know where it’s gonna go, you know?”
She then cheekily added: “Well we’ve already been papped, tongues down each other’s necks and we had no idea!”
