This is so sweet!
Ahead of this evening’s episode, the DWTS contestants are rallying their followers to get voting for them to stay in the competition. And although he has an impressive 168k followers, Love Island star Matthew MacNabb’s dad may just be his biggest fan.
Sharing a video that his sister put on her story, Matthew showed followers just how many texts his Dad sent in to vote for him, and it’s a lot.
The caption Matthew’s sister wrote read, “My dad’s votes last week, some say he is still counting them up”, while the Love Island star added, “Hahaha competition to see who can beat my dad’s”. That’s one way to get as many votes as possible!
Matthew seems to be enjoying his time on the show, although he wasn’t sure how it would go beforehand, speaking to RTÉ entertainment, before the live shows began he said, “I’ll be nervous going out, but I won’t be too bad. What’s the worst that’s going to happen?
“If I fall and trip, I fall and trip. I’m not dead, you know what I mean? I would be disappointed if I messed up because I really care and want to do the best possible, and I’ve put a lot of work into it, but that’s life. You can only control what you can control.”
