Marty Whelan is one doting dad as he has shared photo from his daughter Jessica’s wedding day.
Jessica and her now-husband Conor tied the knot in November, and Marty made sure to take his Father of the bride duties seriously. The iconic TV presenter chauffeured his daughter in style, turning up in a vintage yellow convertible. Sharing a snap of their brilliant transportation on Twitter, Marty wrote: “Fine transport”
He also shared pictures of the whole family celebrating together.
The bride looked stunning in a long-sleeved lace gown, which she pair with a matching lace veil. Captioning the snap: “Our fam.”
“A magical, memorable and emotional day, Nov 5th, Jessica and Conor’s wedding day. So proud as her Dad to see Jessica marry her true love Conor. Love, laughter and tears. Here’s to their happiness and one of the greatest days ever.”
He also posted a photo of newlyweds Jessica and Conor making their way out of the chapel.
Writing: “What a day… our special day this year for Jessica and Conor.”
Revealing Jessica had tied the knot on his radio show last month, Marty revealed it was a great bash, and was still recovering days after the party.
Explaining to The Marty in the Morning listeners: “I am just about recovering, but I will get over it.
“That was the small matter of my daughter getting married, these things happen.
“It was a great aul few days and here we are back and ready for the off. Have I any energy left? None.”
