Westlife’s Mark Feehily has shared the sweet way in which he included his newborn daughter Layla in the band’s new album, Spectrum.
Mark, along with Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan and Kian Egan released their hugely anticipated comeback album earlier this month – to a huge success and debut at number one!
Now, Mark, who welcomed his first child with fiance Cailean back in October, has shared a look at how he included his new little girl in the very special album.
“The background image on my page in the SPECTRUM album booklet is Layla’s 32 week 4D scan edited by me,” the 39-year-old shared alongside the snap.
“I wanted a bit of her magic with me on the album/artwork so decided on a nice little pop-art tribute to her (before she was even born!)”
Baby Layla was born on October 1st, and the tiny tot has been making Mark and Cailean’s adjustment into life as new parents very easy.
“She’s fantastic, she’s really chilled – apart from the occasional cry and nappy change,” the singer told Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show.
“Leading up to it, everyone was like ‘oh, I hope you’re ready, no more nights out no more holidays, nothing.
“I mean, I haven’t gone on holidays or nights out since but I think people got kind of, quite, dramatic about how hard it was going to be.
“Any difficulty of it is eliminated by the complete joy of it. She’s gorgeous.”
