The TV adaption of Sally Rooney’s novel Conversations With Friends was filming in Belfast this summer and starred actor Joe Alwyn.
Joe has been dating Taylor Swift for years now, and him being in Ireland meant that Swift fans could enjoy seeing their fave singer visiting Ireland throughout the summer.
Maria Moore, a makeup artist on the movie was doing Joe’s makeup while filming and received a gorgeous gift from the actor when filming ended.
Joe gave Maria a Gucci handbag worth nearly €2000.
What a thank you present!
The makeup artist shared a picture of the bag on social media sharing her thanks to the actor saying, “So this happened… thank you so much to my amazing actor Joe Alwyn for the most incredible leaving present ever… like ever ever.”
Maria also spoke about meeting Taylor Swift at the wrap party saying, “And for those asking yes I did meet Taylor Swift what an incredible, smart and inspirational lady, she is soooo lovely.”
The series is set to be released on BBC and RTÉ in 2022.
