Mairead Ronan has opened up about life with new baby Eliza, admitting she’s enjoying every minute of her their time together.
She welcomed little Eliza to the world last month, but despite already having a nine-year-old son, Dara, Mairead forgot how tough things can be.
Speaking to The Sun, she said, “The last month has been a blur – it’s gone by so fast.
“It’s been great going back to this again because I’ve a nine-year-old.
“You actually forget things. And then when they happen again you go, ‘Oh God, yeah, I forgot babies like to get up in the middle of the night a couple of times’. But she’s been a dream and I’m really, really enjoying it all immensely.”
The radio star admitted that while time is flying, she’s making the most of her maternity leave, before going back to work in the summer.
She added, “Being at home every day is really, really nice. It is always tough going back. When I went back after Dara, I did struggle. For now, I’m enjoying every minute of my maternity leave.”
Meanwhile, Mairead has called RTE crazy for axing The Panel.
