Scott van-der-Sluis might hail from Wales and spent his summer in Mallorca, but Dublin will always be important to him.
The Love Island star had been living on our shores as a League of Ireland goalkeeper, prior to entering the villa.
Scott was a proud member of Dublin team Shelbourne FC as a reserve goalkeeper for a year, only leaving to join the series.
He has also been quick to share his love of Ireland, leaving fans to wonder if he might return anytime soon? And the answer is a resounding yes!
Taking to Instagram, Scott was asked if he’d come back to Ireland, replying: “I had some of the best times of my life in Dublin, and I will be back soon!”
Although the pro-footballer didn’t divulge any other details about his return trip, considering his love for Ireland, we expect it will be quite the occasion.
The 22-year-old made no secret of his adoration for the capital during his time in the villa. While getting to know Dublin girl Catherine Agbaje, he gushed: “So basically my friend was there last year, and [I] basically just called him up one day and says ‘I wanna come and live in Dublin for a year cause it’s an unbelievable city.'”
“I think it’s class, I love the Irish music and the Irish vibe.”

The goalkeeper also paid tribute to his former club after leaving the villa.
In his first post after re-gaining access to social media, Scott honoured Shelbourne FC.
Writing: “Didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to any of you @shelsfc, but enjoyed every moment over there and I’ll be coming to visit soon.”
We cannot wait for their reunion.
