Love Island has introduced plenty of bombshells this season, but none like Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
Since her entrance to the villa she has impressed fans, providing plenty of drama and hilarious moments. But her life outside the villa seems just as exciting.
She was already plenty used to the screen as she had starred in not one but two Turkish soap operas, even before the show she was working with Pretty Little Thing, and back in the day was a pageant queen…when she represented Ireland.
That’s right…somehow Ekin-Su managed to be Miss Ireland and it just never came up!
Ekin-Su represented us, as Miss Ireland during the 2011 Miss Asia Pacific World pageant when she was just 18.
Competing under the name Susie Hayzel Culculoglu, for the competition her hometown was listed as Dublin.
She was born in London and grew up between England and Istanbul, but there must have been a brief stop over in the capital at some point, or else she could have some Irish heritage.
Considering what great craic she is in villa, it’s pretty easy to believe she’s Irish.
Ekin-Su is currently coupled up with Davide after the pair split for a couple of weeks.
Davide was the first person to couple up with Ekin-Su, but they hit a bump when new boy Jay entered the villa, and had a spark with her. Leading to a massive fight between Ekin-Su and Davide.
But things soon fizzled out with Jay, meaning that Ekin-Su and Davide are back together.
For now that is as Casa Amor is just around the corner and will see the Islanders split into two houses, as new contestants are introduced.
