Louise Cooney has made a massive step in her wedding planning.
Her partner, Mark Sweeney, popped the question in August at Spanish Point in a very sweet moment.
And as the new year has kicked off Louise has been all guns blazing with her wedding prep. Earlier this week she went hunting for her wedding dress.
Now she and Mark have made another big step.
She took to TikTok to explain how wedding planning was going, saying that after they sat down and made a list of everyone they wanted to invite they looked at venues.
“My sister got married the year before last and she had a load of bridal magazines that had loads of venues in there. And I spoke to a couple of wedding planners abroad,” Louise said.
“So we viewed places in Ireland and we viewed places abroad. And there was one place in particular we just couldn’t get out of our heads. We sat with it for a while. And then we booked in November, in Ireland!” she shared.

“I’m so excited! It’s literally the dream venue!”
She also shared that she was able to book a photographer and videographer after that, with the help of her sister and her friend.
“I’m already trying to imagine what it might look like,” she went on to say before adding: “I have no dress or anything yet!”
She went on to say that they’ve picked their band and “a few other musical bits”. In fact, she said that they are “nearly finished” with getting their ducks in a row.
“I feel like with weddings there is a lot of pressure with all the different things you have to do. But we wanted to do our way,” she said, as she opened up about asking her bridesmaids to be with her on the day.
She also got her hair and makeup sorted, as well as her invites, the church and the priest.
